I dance tango, is this proposal for me?
This proposal is especially for you. Since its inception, tango was a music to dance. The way to LISTEN TO TANGO that we propose will help you and enrich your dance.
Is it necessary to have musical technical knowledge?
It is not necessary any previous musical knowledge, just want to LISTEN TO TANGO and enjoy it. Our methodological proposal allows in a few minutes to begin to identify easily fundamental musical elements to "know" a musical work.
How are the meetings?
The courses are designed based on your needs.
Tourist modality: intensive courses of 1 or 2 meetings. Encouraged by a refreshment of Argentine products, we will go through specific elements of tango music, reviewing part of its history and the musical style of its main references. This modality includes the Bonus Track "Tango Tourist".
Regular mode: through the weekly meetings, musical works will be audibly analyzed, identifying types of tempo dialing, musical ideas and tango forms. The functional character of the instruments will also be discussed.
Bonus track for "Tango Tourists"
Our meetings end with an exclusive tourist advice on tango in Buenos Aires. We are going to suggest places where tango lived and lives in the City of Buenos Aires (concerts, milongas, historical sites, etc).
